Description:

Description for B&B:

Situated in the 9th arrondissement of Marseille, in the southern area, this bed & breakfast is nestled on a family-owned property. The establishment has been transformed to include a restaurant, which serves lunch, and a selection of cozy guest rooms. The design of the property has been carefully planned with an eco-friendly approach, incorporating elements such as the cultivation of produce for the restaurant, the installation of solar panels to support water and electricity consumption, and the use of environmentally conscious materials during renovation. The name chosen for this remarkable place is Ginkgo, paying homage to the renowned Ginkgo Biloba tree.

Ginkgo offers three double rooms, each boasting its own unique vegetable-themed decor. While check-in is available at any time throughout the day, please note that rooms will only be accessible after 3pm from Monday to Wednesday, and after 5pm from Thursday to Sunday. For check-out, guests are required to vacate their rooms by 11am if the room is occupied on the same day, or by 3pm if the room is unoccupied. If you have any additional inquiries, kindly consult with the host.

Guests are invited to take full advantage of the expansive outdoor space, including a visit to the charming vegetable garden. Parking facilities are also available for those arriving by car.

The restaurant operates from Thursday to Sunday, serving delectable meals between 12pm and 3pm. Additionally, evening meals and upscale picnic baskets can be arranged upon request, subject to availability. For further details, please consult with the host.

Ginkgo benefits from an advantageous location, just a short distance from the renowned National Park "Les Calanques" (5 minutes by car, 10 minutes by public transportation, or a 25-minute walk), as well as the beautiful coastline (10 minutes by car, 30 minutes by public transportation). Furthermore, Ginkgo offers the opportunity to embark on day trips aboard a sailing boat, accompanied by a local skipper, allowing guests to explore the hidden treasures that Marseille has to offer. For pricing and availability, please consult with the host.
