The Manoir de Malagorse is located in the picturesque countryside of the Lot, just outside the small village of Rignac. The charming medieval village of Martel is a short 10-minute drive away, offering a delightful selection of restaurants and shops. The location of the Manoir is perfect for exploring both the Dordogne Valley, with its attractions such as Sarlat, Domme, Manoir de Eyrignac, and Chateau de Beynac, as well as the historic sites of the Lot, including Rocamadour, Gouffre de Padirac, and Carennac.

The Manoir itself is filled with natural light and furnished with unique pieces Anna and Abel have discovered at local Brocante markets. The kitchen, the heart of the house, features a handmade immense cooking range and a huge farmhouse table for hosting memorable evenings when outdoor dining is not possible. Breakfast at the Manoir is a sumptuous affair, with fresh juice, fruit, homemade yogurts and musli, freshly baked croissants and brioche, homemade jams, and aromatic coffees and teas. Dinner is a four-course meal served in the courtyard, weather permitting. Anna takes pride in setting a delightful table with crisp antique linen, fresh flowers, and candles. Abel's menu focuses on the freshest produce and light aromatic flavors, often inspired by Provence.

The living room is the perfect place to unwind, with comfortable leather armchairs and an interesting selection of coffee books to browse. The Manoir offers five individually designed bedrooms, each thoughtfully decorated with sumptuous French fabrics and locally sourced furnishings. The rooms vary in size and character but all provide the comforts of home, including fresh garden flowers, crisp white bedlinen, fluffy bathrobes, and luxurious toiletries from Coté Bastide.

One of the unique accommodations at the Manoir is the Four à Pain (The Bakery), an independent building with original features, including a huge vaulted oven. Set in 3 hectares of peaceful countryside, the Manoir offers stunning views and a swimming pool surrounded by comfortable teak sunbeds. An elevated terrace with teak furniture is the perfect spot for afternoon tea or an early aperitif.

There are plenty of sporting activities available nearby, such as canoeing down the Dordogne River, taking in historic sites and beautiful scenery. For food enthusiasts, Anna and Abel can arrange a gastronomic picnic. The region is rich in historical sites and natural beauty, with popular attractions including Chateau Castelnaud, Beynac, Les Grottes de Cazelle, and Gouffre de Padirac. Medieval towns like Sarlat and Domme can be visited along a scenic route through the Dordogne Valley, passing by the impressive Chateau de Montfort. The famous cliffside village of Rocamadour is a must-see, and off the beaten path, the villages of Carennac, Floriac, and Creysse are delightful. Garden lovers will enjoy visiting Les Jardins du Manoir d'Eyrignac, Les Jardins du Chateau de Marqueyssac, Les Jardins de L'Imaginaire Terrasson, and Les Jardins du Chateau de Hautefort. For wine enthusiasts, Abel can provide recommendations on vineyards to visit in Cahor or arrange a private tour. Welcome to Le Loft de Malagorse, a recently renovated barn that offers 110m2 of luxurious living space. This stunning property is located within the charming courtyard of Malagorse.

On the ground floor, you will find a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious dining area, perfect for enjoying delicious meals with your loved ones. Step outside onto your private terrace and immerse yourself in the beautiful garden surroundings.

As you ascend to the first floor, you will discover two elegant bedrooms. One of the bedrooms boasts a luxurious rolltop bath and a walk-in shower, while the other features a spacious walk-in shower. Additionally, there is a large open plan living area, providing a comfortable and inviting space for relaxation.

To enhance your stay, we offer a delightful breakfast service with fresh bread and croissants delivered to your door each morning. Alternatively, you have the option to indulge in a delicious breakfast at the Manoir for an additional 15 euros per person.
