Directions
To get to Vézelay from Paris Lyon, take either RN6 or A6. At Outway n°22 Avallon, follow RN6 towards Vézelay and Auxerre. Once you reach Avallon, leave RN6 at the circle level and head towards Vézelay and Pontaubert. In Pontaubert, when you reach the end of the village, turn left (south) towards Menades and Island. As you continue on the road, you will notice the castle on your left, just before reaching the village of Island.
