Only a 15-minute drive from the Medieval City of Carcassonne, our house offers two beautifully appointed rooms that are filled with natural light and tranquility. The rooms have been tastefully decorated to create a serene atmosphere. Additionally, we provide a bathroom that features an antique bathtub, an Italian shower, and a WC. Experience the charm of our beautifully renovated 17th-century cottage, "Au fil de l'eau," just a short distance from the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Carcassonne and Canal du Midi. Nestled in a picturesque setting at the entrance of Montolieu, a renowned book village, and overlooking the river, our characterful cottage offers a truly enchanting stay.Inside, you will find a cozy living/dining room adorned with a fireplace and a comfortable sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen featuring a stunning vaulted ceiling in carved stone, and a spacious terrace bathed in sunlight, boasting a breathtaking view of the river and garden.
The cottage comprises two double bedrooms, one with a 1.60m bed and the other with a 1.40m bed, along with a bathroom complete with an antique bathtub, an Italian shower, and a WC.
Stay connected with our complimentary WIFI, enjoy a barbecue on the terrace, take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool, or engage in a game of boules. Je conseille vivement de passer des vacances chez Sabine et Bart. La maison est atypique. La terrasse est enivrante. La nature est exceptionnelle.
Sabine nous reçoit à merveille. Tout est prêt dès notre arrivée. Pour bien commencer les vacances, elle nous reçoit avec une petite attention. Sabine est toujours à l'écoute pour trouver une solution (location de voiture) et propose des activités intéressantes.

Directions
To travel from Carcassonne to Toulouse, take the RN113 road and pass through Pezens. Afterward, make a right turn towards Moussoulens. At the roundabout in Moussoulens, continue in the direction of Montolieu. Once you reach Montolieu, follow the signs leading to Alzonne. The house you are looking for is located a short distance ahead, on the left side of the road, just before the bridge.
