Description for B&B:
The island of Désirade, located off Guadeloupe, can be reached by a 30-minute boat ride from St. Francis. The Blue House is situated in Baie-Mahault, the final village before the port for boats heading to Désirade, which is 7 km away. The island measures 12 km in length and 2 km in width, with only one road running alongside the gently sloping mountain towards the sea, while the other side is steep. Désirade offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the world, boasting tranquility, natural beauty, and friendly locals. The constant trade winds provide a refreshing breeze throughout the island, including the house. The house features a fully blooming garden that is enclosed. Just 400 m from the house is a beach, with a 300 m stretch protected by a coral reef, creating a peaceful pool-like area spanning approximately 15,000 m2. The beach is adorned with coconut palms that provide shade, while the sandy shore is a light blond color. With pleasant winds, ample sunshine, and gentle heat, the atmosphere promotes a sense of well-being.Description for Gite
