Welcome to our guest house for rent in Charente Maritime, near the beautiful city of La Rochelle on the Atlantic coast.This independent guesthouse offers a high level of comfort and is located within a closed property, surrounded by trees and a large swimming pool.
Perfect for four people, the guesthouse features a spacious and well-exposed living room with a cozy lounge area, TV, and fireplace. There is also a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine. The living room opens up to a large terrace overlooking the swimming pool, complete with comfortable sun loungers.
The guesthouse includes two bedrooms, one with a 140cm bed and the other with two 90cm beds. There is also a bathroom and separate toilet.
Located in the charming village of Poléon, part of the Saint Georges du Bois commune, our guesthouse is conveniently situated near Surgères, which has a TGV train station and all necessary amenities. Paris is approximately 400km away via the toll road, while La Rochelle and Rochefort are both just 30km away.
Poléon is situated on the border of the famous "Green Venise," a picturesque part of the Marais-Poitevin. Additionally, the stunning Island of Ré is only a 30-minute drive away, offering a charming local harbor and beautiful sandy beaches.
During your stay, you can enjoy various activities on-site, including swimming in the 12m x 6m swimming pool, playing ping-pong and petanque, or simply relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. There are also opportunities for short walks or bike rides in the Aunis county, as well as tennis and horse riding in Saint Georges du Bois.
In the surrounding area, you can visit the Venise Verte and explore it by boat, canoe, or bike. The nearby beaches offer a range of activities such as sailing, surfing, and funboarding. Additionally, there are options for bowling, fishing, karting, and playing golf on an 18-hole course.
For day trips, you can explore the islands of Île de Ré and Île d'Oléron by car, or take a boat to Île d'Aix and visit the famous fort Boyard. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the historic cities of La Rochelle, with its old town and harbor, and Rochefort, home to the Corderie Royale and the Hermione construction site. Other nearby attractions include the fortifications in Brouage and the beach, aquatic center, and casino in Chatelaillon.
