Located in the rear Finistere, which translates to "the end of the world" in Breton, this area represents the westernmost point of the Armorican massif, extending into the sea from the Breton peninsula. It is here that you can truly appreciate the distinction between the coastal area (known as Armor or Arvor by the ancient Gauls) and the inland region (referred to as Argoat).
