The farmhouse, originally built in 1838, has been transformed into a charming Bed & Breakfast featuring five cozy rooms. Adjacent to the farmhouse is the Blue Lagoon recreation building, which offers a variety of activities such as sports, games, art, and workshops. It is also available for hosting weddings, festivities, and renting as a reception room. Additionally, we have set up a mini camping area in the meadow.Each of our five bedrooms boasts a private bathroom and a separate toilet. They have been designed to evoke beautiful and sweet memories of places around the world. All rooms offer views of the garden and the magnificent mountains beyond. We offer five double rooms for our guests' comfort.
PtitMonde is conveniently located near the Col de Bonhomme, the Hohneck, and the lakes of Xonrupt Longemer and Gérardmer. From our terrace, you can enjoy a glimpse of the Route de Crêtes. Whether you are an outdoor enthusiast seeking tranquility or a motorcycle enthusiast, our B&B is the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate. Our yard has been meticulously transformed into a sunny garden, ideal for soaking up the sun and enjoying moments of relaxation by the pond, in a hammock, on the grass, or in one of the shaded sitting areas. For those looking for recreation, the Blue Lagoon offers amenities such as ping-pong, table football, musical entertainment, and a mini flea market.
During the winter season, PtitMonde warmly welcomes guests who enjoy skiing. The nearby ski resorts of La Bresse, Gérardmer, and the Lac Blanc offer fantastic opportunities for winter sports. Additionally, right next to our B&B, you can explore beautiful snowshoe trails. At the end of your adventurous day, unwind near the fireplace in our central living room, while savoring Glühwein or hot cocoa.
At PtitMonde, food is a significant aspect of your experience. Our meals are thoughtfully prepared using fresh ingredients, reflecting the flavors and dishes we have encountered during our own travels. Embark on a culinary journey around the world with our three-course dinner, featuring diverse cuisines from countries such as France, Russia, Spain, Indonesia, Italy, and Africa. We take pride in sourcing ingredients from our own vegetable garden whenever possible. Vegetarian options are also available.
For coffee enthusiasts, we provide a luxury coffee bean espresso machine that can prepare a range of beverages, from ristrettos to latte machiatos. Tea lovers will appreciate our extensive selection of (herbal) teas, including our homemade herbal mixes. We are happy to accommodate gluten allergies and can cater to the dietary guidelines of Chris Verburgh's "The Food Hourglass" upon request.
For lunch, we offer convenient lunchboxes filled with fruits, snacks, soft drinks, and a sandwich made with French or homemade bread. Alternatively, enjoy a choice of warm and cold meals, fresh smoothies, wholesome cakes, salads, deluxe sandwiches, and homemade soup in our dining room.
Start your day with our generous buffet breakfast, featuring homemade bread, fresh fruits, boiled eggs, croissants, chocolate bread, brioche, or fresh French bread from the local bakery. Indulge in cottage cheese, muesli, tea/coffee, freshly squeezed fruit juices, homemade jams, honey, butter, cheese, and cold meats. Your stay includes complimentary coffee and tea.
PtitMonde is equipped with central heating throughout the entire Bed & Breakfast, ensuring a comfortable stay regardless of the season.
Description for Gite
Our gîte, "Grand Voyage," offers a spacious open kitchen, living room, and three comfortable bedrooms for up to six people. The kitchen/living room area measures 33 square meters, while the bedrooms range from 16 to 21 square meters each.Each bedroom has its own private bathroom and toilet, ensuring convenience and privacy for our guests. The gîte is fully equipped with amenities such as a 4-burner electric plate, oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, kettle, coffee maker, and WIFI.
The gîte is available for rent for a minimum of four days, and is suitable for guests aged 16 years and older. It is located within the same building as our chambre d'hôtes, allowing gîte residents to have access to all the facilities offered to our guests, including a TV room, information corner, garden, recreation room with a piano and table tennis table, washing machine, and minibar. Guests can also enjoy the convenience of the breakfast buffet and indulge in a delightful evening at the table d'hôtes.
The price for the gîte is 175 euros per day, which includes cleaning costs, bed linen/towels, electricity, and heating. Please note that the tourist tax of 0.50 euros per person per night is not included in the price. Additionally, from October 1 to May 1, there is an additional contribution of 15 euros per day for heating costs.

Start your journey from Luxembourg and head towards Metz and Nancy. Then, continue in the direction of Strasbourg and Colmar. About 40km before reaching Colmar, you will pass Saint Dié. Take the Gerardmer exit at this point.
After approximately 15km, at the roundabout in Anould, follow the sign for Fraize.
Once you have passed the roundabout, take the second street on your right, which is located about 500m after the roundabout. Look for the LogoPtitMondeOnline.
Stay on Rue Jeanne dArc, keeping to the left. This road is quite long and winding.
After approximately 1km, take the first left turn.
Continue on this road for about 2.5km until you reach a T-junction. At the junction, turn right following the sign for PtitMonde.
After driving for 200m, you will arrive at your destination: PtitMonde. Follow the signs to the parking area and check in at the entrance.
Please note that loading and unloading can be done at the entrance.
