Come and unwind in this charming gîte that offers an array of advantages such as tranquility, natural surroundings, a cozy wood fireplace, children's games, comfortable deck chairs, and a variety of books. This beautiful building is conveniently located just 3 km from the A26 motorway, 10 km from Cambrai, and a stone's throw away from the famous Cistercian abbey of Vaucelles. Additionally, it is situated near notable attractions such as the tank Deborah in Flesquières, the Historial in Péronnes, the mines in Lewarde, and the art in Cateau-Cis and Matisse. For those interested in exploring further, Brussels and Bruges are also within reach.

You will be captivated by the charm of the house itself, as well as the breathtaking view of the former post office where Mozart once stayed. Indulge in the delectable cuisine of local restaurants and enjoy a restful night's sleep followed by a delicious breakfast.

The gîte is located on a farm and is a single-story 142m² property that is attached to a guestroom, making it suitable for those with restricted mobility. It features a spacious living room, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a welcoming open fireplace. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a single bed, each with their own WC, basin, and shower facilities. Additionally, there is a second bathroom with a double bed, a single bed, a WC, a basin, and a bath. The gîte also offers a cellar for your convenience.

Upon your arrival, you will find the beds made and the gîte equipped with a washing machine, microwave, TV, DVD player, dryer, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, and phone. It is also baby-friendly and has gas heating with service charges included. For your convenience, there is an option for house cleaning and a small fee of 5 per animal per night for those traveling with pets. Internet access is available.

Directions

The Bonavis farmhouse is located at the junction of the D 917 and the D 644, between Cambrai and Saint-Quentin. Please note that it is not actually situated in the village of Banteux. If you are traveling on the A 26 motorway (Calais-Reims), take exit 9 and turn right towards Cambrai. The farm is approximately 1.24 miles from the motorway exit. Look out for the farm on your right, just before the first major junction.
