Description:

Description for B&B:

Experience the irresistible charm of our family-owned establishment, where uniqueness is our specialty. Allow us to guide you through our magnificent building, showcasing its distinctive architecture, horseshoe shape, and the adjacent property, which houses a model farm from the late 19th century.

Our patio holds a remarkable historical significance, as it witnessed the momentous meeting between King George V, President Poincaré, General Joffre, and General Foch, alongside Sir Douglas Haig. This influential conference took place in August 1916, leading to the signing of the Doullens Agreement and the establishment of Sir Douglas Haig's headquarters during the preparation of the counter-offensive in the Battle of the Somme.

We offer a spacious and completely renovated 28m² room on the first floor of our house, perfect for accommodating 2 or 3 people. The room comes with a private ensuite bathroom, including a shower and separate toilet. You will find all the necessary amenities such as comfortable bedding, TV, WiFi, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, and a dining area. Bed linen and towels are provided, and we can provide an additional bed in the same room upon request. We also offer a complimentary cot for those traveling with infants.

For your convenience, the room has a separate entrance, ensuring a peaceful and pleasant stay with a beautiful view. Indulge in a delicious breakfast, which is included in the room rate. On sunny days, you can enjoy your breakfast on the terrace, or if you prefer, in the dining room of the owners (only available on weekends), or in the privacy of your room.

Please note that our prices are as follows: €55 per night for 1 person, €60 per night for 2 people, and €70 per night for 3 people. We offer a 10% discount per night for stays of 3 nights or longer.

If you would like to see photos of our establishment, please feel free to request them.

To make initial contact, please reach out to us via email. We look forward to welcoming you and ensuring a delightful stay at our unique and charming property.

Directions

To reach Beauquesne, follow the D31 road towards Raincheval. After leaving the village, look for a path on the right, around 1km away. There will be a sign indicating the orchards of Valvion. Proceed down this path and take a left turn onto the road. The big house can be found by entering the courtyard.

If you are coming from Amiens via the D31, once you reach Puchevillers, continue straight without turning towards Beauquesne. After approximately 2km, exit the village and make a left turn. Drive for another 300m and then turn left onto the road. Look for the sign indicating the orchards of Valvion. The house is located at the end of the road. Enter the courtyard of the big house.
