Description for B&B:
Experience the dream for yourself at "Au Passage du Gois" in Beauvoir-sur-Mer, located along the stunning Vendée coastline just 800m from the Atlantic Ocean. This holiday region, situated predominantly in the Atlantic Loire area, offers an abundance of sun, sea, and sandy beaches. Surprisingly, it is less than 400 kilometers from the port of Cherbourg and approximately 200 kilometers north of Bordeaux. The Vendée is renowned for its beautiful beaches, as well as its favorable microclimate, boasting the second-highest number of sunshine hours in France after the Rivièra (and the beer is much cheaper here!). Whether you visit in summer or any other season, the Vendée promises a worthwhile experience. Explore the coast and inland areas, where you'll discover numerous attractions and activities. For more information, visit our website at www.aupassagedugois.com.We are pleased to offer a brand-new holiday cottage that accommodates 4 people. This charming cottage, converted from an old sheep stable, features a spacious living room with a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other with two single beds), a bathroom, and a separate toilet. Amenities include a TV with TNT-sat, DVD player, and the option to rent towels and bed linen. You'll also have access to a garden with table and chairs, sun loungers, and a shared swimming pool (4.6x7.6m) with two other cottages (totaling 6 people). Additional amenities include a barbecue, free rental of baby equipment, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Private parking is also available.
Within walking distance, near the entrance of the Passage du Gois, you'll find three restaurants. Alternatively, join us for delectable table d'hôte dinners at our own establishment.
With its impressive 240 kilometers of coastline, including 140 kilometers of sandy beaches, the Vendée is a top holiday destination in France. The coast offers something for everyone, from charming fishing towns and rocky formations to lively coastal cities and the breathtaking Passage du Gois with its abundant birdlife. Sports enthusiasts will find a variety of activities to choose from, such as windsurfing, kite surfing, sand sailing, golfing, walking, cycling, and horseback riding. Families with children can enjoy water parks, zoos, and aquariums in addition to the beaches. The Vendée is also steeped in rich history, with numerous museums, historical monuments, castles, and abbeys to explore, particularly in the picturesque Bocage countryside. For more information, visit the website of the local tourist office at www.vendeetourisme.com. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the famous historical amusement park, Puy du Fou, which offers a captivating journey through 2000 years of history. Just like the coast, the Bocage region is known for its scenic walking and cycling routes along lakes, rivers, and vineyards in the southern part of the Vendée. It's time to indulge in a well-deserved holiday and create unforgettable memories. We look forward to welcoming you soon.
