Welcome to the charming gite "Catalpa", also known as "Indian bean tree". This delightful getaway is an extension of a small chateau, and to reach it, you will pass through a lush and romantic garden. Upon entering, you will be greeted by warm-colored rooms adorned with beams that have stood for over a century, and windows that offer stunning views of the beautifully landscaped grounds. The bathroom, adorned in soft hues, invites you to unwind and relax.Upstairs, you will find a bright sitting room with comfortable chairs and windows adorned with floral chintz curtains, which open up to a spacious terrace. From here, you can admire the wonderfully preserved and lush surroundings, perfect for leisurely strolls. This is the blissful "La clairière au tulipier" or "The tulip tree glade".
The house in the park exudes an indescribable atmosphere, where colors work like magic to create a sense of tranquility. The shimmering walls and countryside views that flood through the windows bring about a peaceful ambiance. The sitting room, boasting a grand fireplace, is adorned in a soothing yellow hue, as is the study and the Louis XIII period furniture.
