Description for B&B:

Welcome to our charming old country house, built in 1750, a few years before the Revolution. Paula and Mike are thrilled to have you as our guest.

Nestled in peaceful and picturesque countryside, the house boasts stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere. It has been in our family for generations, having only been sold once before the 20th Century. The house offers ample space, quietness, and comfort.

Outside, you'll find beautiful gardens with a touch of wilderness, adorned with magnificent specimen trees. We also provide ample parking and garaging facilities.

Start your day with a generous continental breakfast served in a charming salon featuring exposed beams and French doors that open onto the gardens. For those who desire, we offer a delightful four-course evening meal with prior notice.

Conveniently located near the borders of Dordogne and Lot, just thirty minutes away from Brive la Gaillarde and an hour from Limoges. Our house is easily accessible, only 10 minutes from the A20 and A89 autoroutes. It makes for a perfect stopover for those headed south or a great base to explore the splendid Correze, Lot, and Dordogne regions.

Please note that our house is not suitable for babies or young children.

Guests will have access to a spacious and elegant south-facing salon on the ground floor, with French windows that open onto the gardens.

At Chanteix, we consider ourselves a warm and welcoming family home, and our reputation for excellent food and hospitality is well-known.
