Description for B&B:

Located in the charming hamlet of Les Chatres, near Cheniers (Creuse) and Aigurande (Indre), we offer a comfortable double room for two people and a small child. The room boasts a private en suite shower room and toilet, and we can provide a cot, high chair, and baby bath upon request. In the room, you'll find tea and coffee making facilities, while the private lounge features a TV, WiFi, and DVD player. When the weather permits, you can enjoy dining outside on the patio/terrace area. Additionally, we have two adult bicycles available for guests to use. If desired, we can also provide an evening meal for 17.50 euros per person, including wine, if requested in advance. We are happy to accommodate special dietary needs with prior notice.
Nearby attractions include Bourg dhem, just a 15-minute drive away, which offers a sandy beach, pedalos, and a bar/restaurant. The Tuilerie de Pouligny is only 5 minutes away and features a museum and the opportunity to make your own pottery. For nature enthusiasts, there are plenty of opportunities for bird watching, cycling, walking, and fishing, as the two rivers, La Creue and La Petite Creuse, are right at your doorstep. Our chambre d'hotes is conveniently located just over 1 hour and 30 minutes from Limoges airport and approximately 200 miles south of Paris. If you're traveling from Calais, the journey takes around 6-7 hours. Direct rail connections are available from Paris/Lille to Chateauroux and La Souterraine. La Creuse is perfectly situated in the center of France, making it an ideal stopover point for those traveling to southern France or beyond.
