Description:

Description for B&B:

The Segau is a Gascon farmhouse constructed entirely of stone during the late 18th century. It served as a significant agricultural operation, encompassing over 100 hectares of land, where multiple families resided together. The farmer resided in the eastern section of the building, while 4-5 sharecropping families occupied the western portion. It is within this area that we have created five guest rooms.

Presently, our operation spans across 53 hectares surrounding the farmhouse. The land is crossed by the "Osse" river, and we conduct organic farming practices. Our primary focus is on cultivating cereals, particularly wheat and soybeans, as well as lentils and beans. Situated in the heart of Ténarèze, the farmhouse offers a picturesque, hilly landscape where guests can catch a glimpse of the Pyrenees.

During the restoration of this house, our utmost priority was to uphold the original spirit of the building. The selection of materials and the restoration techniques employed aimed to reflect the construction methods of that era, such as stone walls and whitewashed joints. Additionally, we provide 10 horse boxes and motorcycle storage facilities.
