Description:

Description for B&B:

Originally constructed in the nineteenth century, this farm held notable horses and served as a breeding ground for foals until around 1970. It served as a central hub for a thriving equine business and provided housing for workers. Presently, three of these residences have been transformed into breeding facilities, known as "Estuary," "Médoquine," and "Gironde." In order to preserve its rustic charm, this historic and substantial structure has undergone renovations. Situated on a vast 13-acre meadow on the outskirts of town, you will immediately feel connected to nature's essence. Our way of life and the allure of our land have attracted numerous visitors in the past, and we invite you to experience it for yourself. We offer three guest houses and two stunning rooms, accommodating up to 25 people, making it perfect for both family and friends. Located a mere 8 kilometers from our picturesque beaches and 3 kilometers from the estuary, we find ourselves at the core of the northern Médoc region, earning the well-deserved moniker of the "Petite Camargue." As you explore our meadow, you will encounter our free-roaming donkeys and their young, our delightful pygmy goats, our ponies, and various other charming farm animals. The proximity to such joy is truly a delight worth experiencing!

Appréciations pour Ferme du Marais, Saint Vivien de Médoc:

Ferme du Marais - gite Margaux
Review by: Georges B., Mai 11 2016 4:22PM
Super gîte: propreté, déco, tout équipé même les allumettes pour le barbecue; très spacieux même à 10 personnes; les enfants ont appréciés les animaux. Sans oublier la gentillesse des propriétaires. Bravo
