We stayed at Maison de l'Oiseau for 2 nights. The rooms were nice and clean, the bed comfortable, good shower and a good selection for the continental breakfast. In addition our room had a fridge and some nice French period features. The location is perfect and Ann and Brian are really friendly and helpful.

Directions

Directions to The Bird House:
To reach The Bird House, if you are coming from the East or the South, your first destination should be Ploermel. From there, take the RN24 in the direction of Lorient. After approximately 10km, keep an eye out for the Josselin est junction. Take this exit and continue towards the Centre de Ville.

As you descend the hill, you will notice that you are entering the old town. The streets become narrower, and the houses are situated very close to the roadside. Continue driving while passing by various shops on both sides. As you continue down the hill, you will come across a bakery on your right and an opposite restaurant called La Sarazine.

At this point, make a sharp left turn onto the canal road. As you proceed, you will soon catch sight of the Chateau. Take your time to slow down and appreciate the view. On your right, you will notice a bridge over the canal, and on the bank, there is a large hotel called Le Hotel du Chateau.

To reach The Bird House, turn right as if you were entering the hotel car park. However, continue past the hotel for about 100m until you spot black gates on your right. Those gates belong to Maison Oiseau, also known as The Bird House.
