Welcome to our guest house, "The Chabetaine," nestled in a tranquil and privileged location. Prepare to be enchanted by the breathtaking landscape of the Ardennes forest and awakened by the melodious songs of birds. Immerse yourself in the serenity of our surroundings as you stroll along peaceful paths or simply relax on your own balcony, taking in the awe-inspiring beauty of nature from almost every angle.

Our newly built wooden house is not only visually appealing but also environmentally conscious, constructed with ecological materials from start to finish in accordance with the principles of Feng Shui.

Choose from our three bright and airy double rooms, each uniquely positioned to capture the essence of the day. The Aurore room welcomes you with twin beds and a 100% vegetable-based memory foam mattress, allowing for a restful night's sleep. The Zenith room is bathed in sunlight at midday, boasting a spacious double bed with a classic spring mattress resting on adjustable slats. As evening falls, the Twilight room awaits, featuring a generous double bed with an ecological Coco Bamboo boxspring mattress. Regardless of your choice, each room offers a sheltered south-facing terrace, providing an oasis of rejuvenation and marvel.

All of our rooms come equipped with a private bathroom complete with a shower, sink, toilet, towels, and toiletries. Additional amenities include a hairdryer, basic toiletries, a terrace (balcony) facing the south with comfortable garden chairs, and a captivating view of the countryside and forest. For your entertainment, there is a flat-screen TV with cable access and high-speed internet via both a plug and WiFi. We prioritize your comfort with a mechanical ventilation system, an alarm, and fire detection system, as well as large triple-glazed windows to ensure tranquility and privacy.

Please note that our entire house is a non-smoking area. Complimentary parking and a garage for bikes and motorbikes are available, along with walking maps and tourist guides to enhance your stay.

For families with infants, we are delighted to provide a cot upon prior request in one of our rooms for an additional fee of €50.00 per stay. Please let us know in advance.

It is worth mentioning that we have a friendly Labrador dog and a cat who reside with us on the ground floor, and there is a horse in the neighboring meadow, adding to the charm of our surroundings.

Our rooms are new, radiant, and exceptionally peaceful, thanks to natural cellulose insulation and wood fibers in the walls. We take pride in our environmentally friendly approach, using only eco-conscious materials, insulators, and paints. Our heating and hot water are provided by a heat pump, and a wood-burning stove adds a cozy touch to the living room.
