Our charming stone cottage, which dates back to the 19th Century, has been thoughtfully renovated to offer comfortable and delightful accommodations. Located in a peaceful hamlet near the picturesque river Vienne, our cottage is nestled in the serene countryside of the enchanting Charente region. This area is renowned for its rolling landscapes, quaint villages, and medieval chateaux, creating an idyllic setting in France.

Just a short 10-minute stroll across the river Vienne, you will find our local village of Exideuil, where you can find essential amenities such as a bakery for your morning croissants, a chemist, a grocery store, and charming bars.

The Charente region is the perfect place to experience traditional French life at a leisurely pace. Join the locals for a relaxing glass of pineau, a delightful blend of local wine fortified with cognac, while you take in the sights and sounds of everyday life.

For those seeking a more active holiday, there are endless options for day trips that cater to all ages and interests. Explore beautiful historic towns like Confolens, Angouleme, and Cognac, famous for its renowned cognac houses. Discover the rolling countryside, meandering rivers perfect for kayaking, and dense forests with walking and cycling trails, offering endless opportunities for exploration. The ground floor of this charming property features a spacious kitchen/diner with a large dining table, equipped with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and fridge/freezer.

The living room is perfect for cozy autumn evenings, boasting a wood burner. It also offers comfortable chairs, a large double sofa bed, a TV and DVD player, as well as a selection of games and books for your entertainment.

First Floor:
On the first floor, you will find the master bedroom, complete with a king-size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, and a single futon. The second bedroom offers a large double bed, wardrobe, and chest of drawers.

The bathroom on this floor features a shower and toilet facilities.

Outside:
The property also features a sunny terrace at the front of the house, furnished with a table and chairs as well as a barbecue, providing the perfect spot for enjoying meals outdoors.

At the rear of the property, there is a garden with a spacious grassed area and garden furniture, allowing you to relax and unwind surrounded by nature.
