Located between Provence and Cévennes, and near the Ardeche Gorges, our establishment offers an ideal climate for a delightful holiday or a relaxing stay. Situated in the heart of the charming village of BARJAC, which has been labeled as a "Character Village" and has preserved the traditional charm of Provence, The Mulberry Inn welcomes individuals, couples, and friends for a stay of two, three, or more nights.Housed in an authentic 18th-century farmhouse, our inn boasts a lovely garden with outdoor furniture where you can relax and enjoy the surroundings. Our warm and friendly staff will make you feel like friends, providing a simple and welcoming atmosphere.
Upstairs, we have three comfortable and tastefully decorated non-smoking bedrooms. Each room is named after a tree from the Moraceae family: White Mulberry, Breadfruit, and Fig Tree Banyan. The White Mulberry room features three beds measuring 90 x 200, while the Breadfruit room offers a spacious bed measuring 160 x 200. The Fig Tree Banyan room has two beds measuring 90 x 200.
Shared facilities include two bathrooms, one with a bath, basin, and toilet, and the other with a shower, sink, and toilet.
Breakfast is included and can be enjoyed on the terrace or in the dining room. We are happy to accommodate any dietary requirements upon request.
On select nights, we offer a host table service where you can savor Southern cuisine prepared with fresh seasonal ingredients. Reservations are required. For other nights, Barjac and its surroundings have a variety of excellent restaurants to choose from, and our staff can provide recommendations based on your preferences and budget.
We also offer the option of pre-ordered meal trays.
Free WiFi is available throughout the establishment, and our library with a fireplace is the perfect spot to relax, read a book, or play board games.
Linen is provided free of charge, and parking is available nearby. Please note that we are unable to accommodate any pets other than our own small dog.
Within a few minutes' walk from the farmhouse, you will find a market, supermarket, bakery, butcher, pharmacy, and bicycle rental. The village of Barjac itself is a picturesque town where you can leisurely stroll and explore various attractions such as fairs, flea markets, attics, libraries, and castle festivals.

To reach Barjac from the North, take exit (19) Bollene from the A7 motorway. Then, follow the signs for Pont-Saint-Esprit and Barjac.
If you are coming from the South, exit the A9 motorway at Remoulins. Then, head towards Uzès, Allegre les Fumades, and finally Barjac.
If you are traveling on the A7 motorway, exit at Avignon or Orange. From there, continue towards Bagnols-sur-Cèze and Barjac.
Once you reach Barjac, at the roundabout of "Cicada," take the direction towards the city center (D901). Look for the pottery and the pharmacy on your left before reaching your destination.
If you prefer to travel by train, the main stations closest to Barjac are Avignon, Nimes, and Ales.
If you are arriving by plane, you can choose to fly to Avignon, Lyon, Marseille, Montpellier, or Ales.
