The Bear Quilt, a 5-star guest room, is located in the village of Awan Aywaille, between Liege, Spa, and Durbuy. It is surrounded by a private and illuminated garden spanning 1 hectare. The room has undergone a renovation using eco-friendly materials such as hemp, cork, clay, wood, and cellulose. It consists of a 19 m2 bedroom with garden views and access to an indoor swimming pool (58m2) heated with thermal panels. There is also a shower, separate toilet, bathroom, living/dining room (29 m2), and a library/TV room that can be used as an additional bedroom for two children.

A special rate is available for businessmen or representatives staying from Monday to Friday morning. Great attention has been given to the overall atmosphere, decor, and comfort. The warm ambiance is enhanced by wood and linen fabrics, carpets, cushions, pillows, and cozy duvets. The lighting and sound quality are also of high standard. If you are interested in the decoration, furniture, or bedding, details can be provided and orders can be placed at an attractive rate.

A substantial breakfast is served with local ingredients, including dairy and meats from Ardennes, Liège specialties, homemade jams, organic breads, fresh juice, a variety of teas, honeys, and coffees. Outside of breakfast, the owner, who is an oenologist, offers a selection of local ales and wines.

There are numerous activities available, such as walks along the water (Chefna and Ninglinspo streams, Ourthe and Amblève valleys), forest explorations, beaver sightings, deer calling during season, visits to castles, ruins, and museums. For sports enthusiasts, the Liège-Bastogne-Liège cycling routes are nearby, and there are several golf courses in the vicinity (Gomzé, Durbuy, Liège Sart-Tilman, Bernalmont). A wide range of restaurant options will be provided.

The indoor swimming pool is conveniently located next to the bedroom, and the Spa or Chaudfontaine thermal baths are less than 20 minutes away. The owners are dedicated to protecting the remaining brown bear population in the Pyrenees, which is reflected in the theme of the stay.
