Within a 10-minute car ride or a scenic walk along the riverbank, you will find the delightful historic port of Honfleur, hosting a picturesque Saturday market. As you stroll, you will also be treated to breathtaking views of the iconic Pont de Normandie.This location provides an excellent starting point for exploring the wonders of Normandy and Brittany. After immersing yourself in the rich history at the Arromanches museum, you can pay homage to the landing beaches. Alternatively, you can indulge in the area's natural beauty by visiting the numerous stunning beaches. Berville sur Mer is nestled within the Natural Park of Brotonne, which encompasses the enchanting Forest of Brotonne. Whether you prefer cycling along the many paths, enjoying a picnic in tranquil areas, or embarking on a scenic hike, both sides of the River Seine offer ample opportunities for outdoor adventures.

The kitchen area is fully equipped with two electric hotplates and a fridge, ensuring all your culinary needs are met. The cottage is surrounded by expansive communal gardens where you can enjoy the outdoors, and convenient parking is available. The bedroom features a welcoming double bed, while the bathroom is equipped with a refreshing shower. Additionally, each room is equipped with fixed electric heaters for your comfort. Travel directions from various ports:
- From Calais, it will take approximately 2.5 hours to reach your destination. From Boulogne, it will take 2 hours, from Dieppe, it will take 75 minutes, and from Le Havre, it will take 20 minutes. From any of these ports, you need to head towards the motorways that lead to the A29 motorway, which will take you to the Pont de Normandie. It is recommended to buy your return ticket for 5€ at this point. Once you have crossed the bridge, you should leave the motorway immediately. The Ferme du Chalet is just a 10-minute drive from the bridge toll booth.
- For those arriving from Caen, Cherbourg, St Malo, and Roscoff, you will want to take the last exit off the motorway before crossing the Pont de Normandie. From Caen, take the A13 to A29 to the Pont de Normandie. From Cherbourg, take the N13 to Caen, then follow the ring road to the A13 to A29 to the Pont de Normandie. From St Malo, take the D4 to Dol de Bretagne, then the N176 to N175 to the A84 motorway. From there, take the N175 to Caen and follow the ring road to the A13 to A29 to the Pont de Normandie. From Roscoff, take the D58 to the N12 to the N176, then follow the same directions as from St Malo.
Directions from Paris:
- Leave the Paris ring road by taking the A13 and exit at junction 28. Take the N175 towards St Maclou and before reaching St Maclou, take the N178 towards the Pont de Tancarville. From there, take the D312 towards Conteville and Berville. The cottages are located just before the Church in Berville sur Mer.
Local directions from the Pont de Normandie exit:
- Take the D580 in the direction of Pont Audemer. After approximately 1 mile, turn left at the roundabout onto the D312. This road will lead you to Berville sur Mer. The Ferme du Chalet is signposted to the left just before entering the village. In case you miss the sign, you can also take the first left after the entrance sign to the village. The residence is located 500m down the road, immediately before and to the right of the church.
Directions from Beauvais airport:
- Upon leaving the airport, head towards Beauvais and then take the N31 west towards Rouen. Continue through Rouen towards the A13 motorway. Take the motorway heading west towards Honfleur and Deauville. Exit at junction 28 and take the N175 towards St Maclou. Before reaching St Maclou, take the N178 towards the Pont de Tancarville. From there, take the D312 towards Conteville and Berville. The cottages are located just before the Church in Berville sur Mer.
