Description for B&B:
Come and experience the high quality of life in our beautiful green department with its diverse landscapes! Prepare to be amazed by the ever-changing scenery and the unique architecture of our house igloo, which is entirely made of untreated wood collected from sustainable forests. Our eco-friendly and self-built home follows the golden rule of eco-construction and incorporates various green technologies such as rainwater recovery, thermodynamic water heaters, Canadian well ventilation system, and a micro-treatment plant. We are committed to using green cleaning products and separating our waste in a biodegradable manner. We are passionate about sharing our extraordinary concept, as well as our eco-citizen lifestyle choices. In fact, we grow our own vegetables without any pesticides and offer organic fruits, homemade apple juice, and jams. We have two rooms on the first floor, each equipped with a 140 bed and a private bathroom with a shower, washbasin, and toilet. We also have a children's room on the ground floor upon request. Adjacent to the bedrooms, you will find a mezzanine, a lounge, a library, and wireless internet access. We invite you to join us in our spacious living room, where we can share stories and experiences. Our house is conveniently located on the outskirts of Verdun and the Battle Field, at the foot of the Cotes de Meuse, renowned for its plum orchards. From here, you can enjoy beautiful walks to Lake Madine, Bonzée, and the Mallard. We are also within one hour's drive from Metz, the regional capital of Nancy, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Amnéville, a famous thermal resort with a zoo and an indoor ski slope. Additionally, we offer various local activities such as tree climbing in the "Drill-scape" park, barefoot sensory trails, superbubbles, canoeing on the Meuse River, biking trails, a corn maze, and cultural activities like visiting museums and experiencing the Sound & Light show "From Flames to Light" or discovering Argonne pottery. For those interested, we can arrange visits to a dragee factory and introduce you to local products.Reviews
