This charming residence has been lovingly restored and decorated in a minimal modern style with a touch of the orient. It is perfect for a couple or a single person looking for a comfortable retreat.On the ground floor, you will find a fully fitted kitchen and dining area, equipped for those who enjoy cooking. The kitchen features a gas hob, fan oven, dishwasher, washing machine, and fridge. The oak worktop and unpolished marble tile floor add a touch of sophistication, while the excellent stainless steel saucepans and top-of-the-range frying pans ensure you have everything you need. The kitchen is also stocked with all the necessary utensils, attractive crockery, cutlery, and glasses.
The first floor boasts a bright and airy living room with a wooden floor. Double doors lead to a quiet patio at the back of the house, overlooking a small garden with a sun terrace. The garden is filled with beautiful flowers and various herbs, creating a tranquil and picturesque setting. This outdoor space is equipped with a BBQ and garden furniture for your enjoyment. Inside the living room, you will find entertainment options such as sky TV, DVD player, stereo, and an excellent collection of books about the local area.
On the second floor, there is a comfortable and spacious bedroom with an attached bathroom. The bed features an orthopedic mattress and is adorned with Egyptian cotton bed linen. A fan and mosquito net ensure a peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom offers a power shower and luxury towels for your convenience.
This residence is located in a tiny and peaceful hamlet, just five kilometers east of Lalinde. The village offers amenities such as a Boulangerie for fresh bread and croissants each morning, an excellent restaurant with a stunning view over the river, and a superb cave selling local organic wines. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, there are numerous opportunities for walks, and local markets can be found nearby every day (a list will be provided). The area is also known for its wonderful food and wines, and a recommended list of restaurants will be provided.
With its gentle leisurely pace, breathtaking countryside, exquisite wine and food, inviting ambiance, and friendly locals, this is a place where you will undoubtedly fall in love with France all over again. The minimum rental period is one week, and bookings are available from Friday to Friday.

- Sarlat: 40 minutes
Immerse yourself in the perfectly restored old town, which showcases medieval and Renaissance architecture. Sarlat is the capital of Black Périgord and its rich history is evident in its well-preserved streets, stone roofs, and ancient stone walls.
- Domme: 30 minutes
Perched high above the Dordogne River, Domme offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. Unlike other bastide towns, Domme still retains part of its original fortified walls and town gateways.
- Montpazier: 35 minutes
Considered the most typical example of a bastide in the southwest of France, Montpazier is a National Heritage Site. Its well-preserved architecture makes it the best-preserved bastide in the Dordogne region.

To reach Sarlat from Lalinde, follow D29 for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach Badefols. At this point, make a right turn and continue for 200 meters. The house will be located on the left side, directly across from the car park.
