Sylvie and Thierry warmly welcome you to the beautiful countryside of Vellave, located between the road of Santiago de Compostela, the stunning gorges of Allier, and the famous road of the animal of Gévaudan. At "le clos des pierres rouges," you will experience comfort and refinement in a serene green setting. The story of this charming establishment begins with Sylvie and Thierry's deep love for Haute-Loire. After their extensive travels, they decided to settle down in Rougeac and transform a grand building into exquisite 4-star guest houses. The perfect blend of ancient and contemporary styles gives this structure a touch of elegance and sophistication.The strategic location of "le clos des pierres rouges" is a true asset, allowing easy access to the road of Santiago de Compostela, the picturesque Gorges of Allier, and the renowned road of the Animal of Gévaudan.
On the ground floor, you will find a spacious living room with a cozy fireplace, seamlessly connected to the dining room where you can enjoy delicious meals made with local products (reservation required) or indulge in a rich breakfast. The decoration of the guest houses showcases a collection of unique objects acquired during Sylvie and Thierry's travels, reflecting their life experiences.
The first floor comprises three beautifully themed rooms. The "Tea Time" room features a comfortable double bed and a sophisticated design, accompanied by a lovely shower room. The "Pondichéry" room boasts a charming red and white color scheme and also offers a double bed. Lastly, the "Vellave" room, designed for guests with reduced mobility, is equipped with a spacious adapted shower room. Outside, you can enjoy the vast grounds and the magnificent terrace. Horseback riders are also welcome.
