Nestled in the countryside, at the end of a scenic road along the river, sits The Forge of Montolieu - a charming 19th-century mansion that was once an old forge and mill. Surrounded by a picturesque park, adorned with ancient channels and hidden paths, this enchanting retreat boasts a diverse array of vegetation.During your stay, Charles and Laura Cowen will ensure your utmost comfort in one of their four spacious bedrooms, each showcasing elements of the house's industrial history and its "golden age." The goddess room and Madame Gazelle room, both generously sized and offering a double and single bed respectively, provide captivating views of the river to the east and stunning ginko biloba trees to the west. Ourika's room, with its two beds, overlooks a magnificent waterfall that cascades beneath the house. Mr. Wolf's bedroom, featuring a king-sized bed, offers a majestic vista of the surrounding nature, with the prominent presence of one of Europe's oldest Douglas firs. These first-floor rooms are complemented by two large bathrooms, thoughtfully designed with ample space and a harmonious connection to the river.

Un lieu magique
Un week-end magique dans le Cocoon Tree, une boule douillette et confortable, accrochée dans les arbres à côtés d'un magnifique lac et au milieu d'une nature enchanteresse. Tout est beau, charmant et bon à la Forge de Montolieu. Découvert par hasard pour un week-end surprise improvisé nous sommes tombés sous le charme de ce lieux et de ses propriétaires. Nous avons hâte de revenir nous évader et nous régaler.
