The accommodation is located in a private courtyard with its own parking area. Each Gite has a private garden equipped with an Out Back BBQ, dining area, and garden furniture. The spacious swimming pool consists of a paddling pool (25msq) with a depth of 40cm, flowing into a large pool (75msq) with a shallow end of 1m and a deep end of 2m. Situated on the edge of the Adour valley, the pool offers breathtaking views of the mountains. The grounds also feature an ancient chapel, moat, and woodlands for guests to explore. With its serene atmosphere and stunning views of the Pyrenees mountains and Gascon countryside, Le Prielle is an ideal place to relax and recharge. Located in the heart of Gascony, it offers a wide range of opportunities for those looking to explore the area. Close to market towns such as Plaisance du Gers, Vic en Bigorre, Maubourguet, and Aire sur l'Adour, visitors have plenty of options when it comes to experiencing high-quality regional produce. The Madiran area is also known for its wine-growing regions, including St Mont, Juracon, and Bearn. Additionally, the Armagnac region and charming towns in Southwest France are easily accessible to the north. Introducing our Gites:Our collection of four Gites offers a delightful and brand new accommodation experience, as they have been purpose-built and restored using traditional materials. Each Gite presents unique features and amenities to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests.
Gite 1 - Le Chai:
This Gite boasts three bedrooms, a bathroom, a cozy lounge, a spacious dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. Spanning approximately 110 square meters (or 1200 square feet), it provides ample space for your holiday needs. Additionally, an adjoining door allows Le Chai to be combined with La Grange, accommodating over 10 people. This versatile option is perfect for two families or large groups seeking to vacation together.
Gite 2 - La Grange:
Featuring two bedrooms, a bathroom, a comfortable lounge, a welcoming dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen, La Grange offers a charming stay. With an area of around 110 square meters (or 1200 square feet), it provides a cozy atmosphere for your vacation. An adjoining door connects La Grange with Le Chai, allowing for the option of a larger unit to accommodate 10+ people. This arrangement is particularly ideal for two families or large groups wanting to spend their holiday together.
Gite 3 - Le Hibou:
Le Hibou includes three bedrooms, a bathroom, a spacious lounge, a delightful dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. Covering an area of approximately 110 square meters (or 1200 square feet), this Gite provides ample space for a comfortable stay. It even offers additional room for extra beds if needed, ensuring flexibility for your group.
Gite 4 - Le Pigionaire:
Ideal for both summer and winter holidays, Le Pigionaire offers three bedrooms, a bathroom, a cozy lounge, a separate fully equipped kitchen, and a dining area with a delightful log burning stove. This Gite provides a warm and inviting atmosphere for your stay.

The nearest village, MADIRAN, is located 3km away. In Madiran, you can find a Boulangerie, Epicerie, Post Office, wine shop & wine centre, Restaurant, Bar, Tennis Courts, Sports Hall, Children's Playground, Football and Volleyball Pitch.
The nearest towns, Plaisance du Gers and Maubourguet, are both located 10km away and offer major facilities.
Tarbes (30km) and Pau (40km) are administrative centers that provide a wide variety of shopping, leisure facilities, arts, and historical centers. Tarbes is also home to the oldest Golf Course in Europe.
Locally, you can enjoy activities such as wine tasting, golf, mini-golf, fishing, water skiing, canoeing, and horse riding.
There are many beautiful walks and cycle rides surrounding our Gites. We provide a large file of local walks and cycle rides, ranging from 3km to 65km, which take you through vineyards, pretty villages, and Chateaux.
Our Gites also serve as a great base for exploring the Pyrenees, which offers fantastic opportunities for both walkers and cyclists.
Fetes:
We highly recommend attending the following local fetes:
- Madiran: Fete du Vin on 14th/15th August, where all local producers offer free tasting of their wines and foods. Music and meals are available over a period of 4 days. In November, there is Portes ouverts, where all producers open their Chais for tasting and purchasing before Christmas.
- Plaisance du Gers: In July, there is a huge street fete, including course landaise.
- Maubourguet: In August, there is a huge street fete over 4 days, including bullfighting and course landaise.
- Marciac: This town hosts an International Jazz festival for 2 weeks, featuring music, stalls, and food from around the world.

By car:
From Bordeaux:
- Take the A62 to Junction 3 Langon. From Langon, follow the main D932 to Roquefort, then take the D934 towards Aire Sur lAdour. Once at Aire Sur lAdour, take the D935 towards Tarbes. Approximately 10km south of Riscle on the D935, you will find Chateau Montus on your right. Take the first right onto the D58 and continue past Chateau Perron to the top of the hill. At the first crossroads after Chateau Perron, turn left. Follow the crest of the hill towards the mountains and take the third left after about 2km onto Chemin de Qulay. Follow Chemin de Qulay until the road forks to the left, then follow the road to the left onto Chemin de Prielle. Le Prielle, our property, is the only one in the middle of the vineyards on the right.
From Tarbes:
- Follow the main road D935 from Tarbes towards Bordeaux. Approximately 10km north of Maubourguet, and signposted to Madiran, turn left onto the D48. Pass Chateau Hechac and continue to the restaurant "La Colline." Take the right facing the restaurant towards Soublecause and Castelneau Riviere-Basse. Take the third right at the second small crossroads onto Chemin de Qulay. At the fork, turn left onto Chemin de Prielle. Le Prielle, our property, is the only one in the middle of the vineyards on the right.
From Pau:
- Take the N134 north out of Pau for approximately 30km until you reach Garlin. At Garlin, turn right and follow the road into the village until you reach a mini roundabout. Turn left at the roundabout and follow the D16 towards a T-junction at Diusse. Turn left and then take the first right, following the signs to Madiran, onto the D205. Follow the D205 and then the D317 towards Aydie, and then take the D548 until you reach a T-junction with the D48. Turn right towards Madiran. Drive through Madiran and take the first left after passing the sports hall. This is Chemin de Qulay. Follow the road until you reach the top of the hill where the road bears right. Continue on Chemin de Qulay until the road forks left onto Chemin de Prielle. Le Prielle, our property, is approximately 500 meters along Chemin de Prielle and is the only one in the middle of the vineyards on the right.
