Description:

Description for Gite

Welcome to Pinot Black Cottage at Clos de Guignes, a charming old winery with a rich history. Dating back to the seventeenth century, this estate in Tavers, Loire Valley, was once inhabited by monks from the diocese of Meung-sur-Loire, who produced wine enjoyed by the royal tables, particularly Louis XIII.

As you enter the large farmhouse, adorned with roses, you will be greeted by a square of vineyards that lead the way to a beautifully landscaped garden. This garden, freely accessible to guests, is filled with hidden corners where chickens roam freely. The peaceful and rejuvenating atmosphere of Clos de Guignes is enhanced by a heated pool and spa located near the pergola. On sunny days, take a moment to relax in the riverside cabin or enjoy a fishing trip. Keep an eye out for deer frolicking in the woods or pheasants strolling by.

Our warm and friendly staff are always ready to assist you during your stay. The cottage, located in one of the outbuildings, offers independence and tranquility. We are delighted to provide you with all the amenities of our property and its surroundings. Please note that the attic space with two single beds may not be suitable for elderly guests. The cottage is perfect for families with children or groups of friends.

Gite Pinot Black is conveniently located just ten minutes from Beaugency station and 150km from Paris. The UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Loire River is just a stone's throw away, allowing you to explore it on foot or by using the bicycles provided. The famous vineyards and castles of the Loire, such as Chambord, Blois, and Meung-sur-Loire, are only a few minutes from the cottage. For more adventurous activities, you can visit Beauval Zoo or try tree climbing or karting in Sologne.
