Description for B&B:
Our house is located in the heart of the village of Broye, just 200 meters away from the bakery, grocery store, and trails. The room itself opens directly onto our quiet south-facing terrace at the back of the house. This cozy suite, measuring 35m², features a comfortable 140cm bed, a shower, and a toilet. A kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, and hot plates is also available for guests to prepare their own meals. The lounge area, equipped with a TV, is centered around a wood stove.
Breakfast can be enjoyed in either our garden or our dining room. We also have a one-acre meadow where we welcome horses for horseback riders, with a team at their disposal. Additionally, we offer baby equipment such as a cot, high chair, bath, changing mat, and baby carrier, as we have our own two children aged 6 and 2.
Our B&B is situated in a small, quiet village called Broye in Saone et Loire, 15 km from both Le Creusot and Autun, and conveniently close to the Morvan region. It is located in a building adjacent to our house, which used to be a village café and forge. We have restored it to create a warm and friendly wood ambiance.
We also offer a table d'hôte service upon request, providing meals made with organic products from the Morvan region. These products are delivered to us weekly by local producers. Guests also have the option to prepare a meal to warm up in their room or have a picnic during the season.
There are plenty of activities to enjoy in the area, including numerous hiking trails starting from Broye or the option to go for a walk or bike ride. Nearby attractions include Autun, Mont Beuvray (archaeological museum), and the Creusot with its glassware park and park valleys.
For those interested in sports and cultural activities, there are various options available nearby such as windsurfing, climbing, paragliding, walking, biking, and fishing. We ourselves enjoy mountain biking (downhill and dirt) and windsurfing, and can provide guidance for exploring the area. We also have a trial ground for amateurs and offer introductory sessions for mountain boarding, Trailskate, ripstick, and freemoove.
Our rates are as follows: 45.00-50.00 euros per night for one person, 5 euros extra for children accompanying two persons. We offer a 5% discount for stays of 3 nights or more. Dinner is available for 13 euros per person, and warm meals can be provided for 9 euros. We also offer mountain bike rentals for 10 euros per day or 6 euros for half a day. Horses can be accommodated for 10 euros per day.
