Description for B&B:

Located just a short stroll away from the city center, in the peaceful St Genès neighborhood, you will find the charming blue house and its welcoming hosts. This unique lodging option offers a cozy atmosphere and accommodations full of character.

Unlike traditional hotels, this private house is situated on the outskirts of Bordeaux city center. It is conveniently serviced by regular bus and tram lines, allowing you to easily arrive, unpack your bags, park your car, and explore all that the Bordeaux region has to offer.

Constructed in the late 19th century, this "vieille dame" still exudes the distinctive style and architecture that is characteristic of Bordeaux. Nestled between the street and a small garden adorned with beautiful flowers and herbs, this is the ideal spot for smokers to relax. Amidst the summer heat, you can enjoy the coolness of the rooms, sheltered by the sturdy stone walls.

The bed and breakfast accommodations consist of two separate rooms located at the entrance of the house, suitable for 2 to 4 people.

The perfect B&B

Valerie is the perfect hostess and her home is the place to stay in Bordeaux. The house is located inside the magnificent UNESCO area and is only a short walk plus tram ride away from the city center. After enjoying Valerie's magnificent breakfast the stroll to the tram is just what you need.
Valerie is a treasure Box of information, by listening to her tips we had amazing experiences of Bordeaux and the surroundings. Thank you Valerie - you made this holiday just perfect!
Overnight stay in Bordeaux

What an excellent place to stay when driving down through France. Couldn't fault the accommodation or the location - a short tram ride from the city centre. Patricia was very helpful in recommending places to eat and drink and we really appreciated the way that she allowed us to use our rather rusty French even though she does speak excellent English.

Maison calme et charmante
Review by: Isabelle, Avr 24 2014 2:37PM
