Welcome to our charming country cottage located in the beautiful region of "marais poitevin" in the South - Vendee. This cozy "gîte" is nestled in a peaceful rural hamlet called Baude, just 2km away from Montreuil. It is also conveniently situated only 12km from Fontenay the Comte and a mere 45km from la Faute sur mer and its stunning beaches. Additionally, la Rochelle is just 60km away.Originally an ancient farm, this 130m2 property underwent a complete renovation in 2002. The goal was to preserve the traditional architecture of the region while creating a comfortable and inviting country house. With its fuel-fired central heating system, the gîte can be enjoyed throughout the year.
You have the option to choose your desired length of stay, whether it's a weekend getaway, a week-long vacation, or even longer.
On the ground floor, you will find a storeroom equipped with a washing machine and dryer. The kitchen is well-equipped with a refrigerator, deep-freeze, dishwasher, and microwave, making it perfect for preparing delicious meals. The spacious living room features a color TV and indoor games for your entertainment. There is also a cozy double bedroom and a separate shower with a toilet on this floor.
Moving to the first floor, you will discover three twin bedrooms, ideal for accommodating larger groups or families. There is a convenient shower room with a toilet, as well as a separate bathroom with its own toilet.
