Description:

Description for B&B:

We have a beautiful house located in the peaceful countryside, offering a tranquil atmosphere with no direct neighbors. It is situated in front of a 5000 m2 park, providing a stunning 180° view of the surrounding hills.

We have two charming cottages available for rent; the Blue Suite on the ground floor and either the Ochre House or the White Room on the first floor. Additionally, we have a unique and retro-style room in the form of a small 80s Eriba caravan located in the garden next to the house.

As the owners, we reside on the first floor and have separate access from the south side of the house. We also offer table d'hôte services, providing a delicious all-inclusive menu for either 20 or 28 euros. Free WiFi is available throughout the property, and we are open year-round.

We, Alessandro and Camilla, are passionate about both Italian and French culture. We invite you to relax at the Glade, a historic stone house dating back to 1781. Our property is nestled in the hills of southwestern Cantal in the Auvergne Volcanoes and Lot Valley, less than 2 km away from the charming medieval town of Marcoles.

If you are looking to explore the area, Marcoles is the perfect starting point. There are plenty of opportunities for beautiful countryside walks and visits to exceptional sites such as Conques (35 km) and Figeac (45 km). However, the Glade is also an ideal destination for those who simply want to indulge in relaxation. Whether you want to read a book, sleep, or enjoy the peaceful silence while admiring the breathtaking panorama of the southwest Cantal, Lot, and Corrèze hills, our property provides the perfect retreat.

We offer two bed and breakfast options, the Blue Suite on the ground floor and either the Ochre House or the White Room on the first floor. Additionally, we have an unusual and retro-style room in the form of a small Eriba caravan from the 80s. All our rooms open onto a serene landscaped terrace, offering privacy and a lovely view of the 5000 square meter park. The Eriba caravan is located to the left of the house, nestled in our garden and surrounded by trees and flowers.

The Blue Suite on the ground floor can accommodate 2 to 5 people, as the living room can be transformed into a separate second bedroom. The Ochre House on the first floor is suitable for two people. Additionally, the Blue Suite can also accommodate 2 to 5 people, as the living room can be transformed into a second separate bedroom. The Ochre House and Eriba caravan can each accommodate two people, while the White Room can accommodate 3 to 4 people. The White Room can also be added to one of the other rooms to increase capacity from 1 to 3 people.

We provide two free cots, and cot linen is available for 10 euros per stay. During the low season, couples have the option to rent only the Blue Suite without the living room for 58 euros. In the high season, this option is available under certain conditions or for stays of 3 nights, with a price of 62 euros.

For those seeking a unique experience, we offer the opportunity to stay in our retro-style Eriba caravan. This charming little caravan can accommodate two adults in a fixed bed with slats (140x190). It features a seating area with two benches and a table, as well as a small toilet area. For hot water and shower facilities, a bathroom in our house is accessible from the outside through a direct and independent entrance, exclusively for the occupants of the Eriba caravan. Please visit our website for more details and specific rates.

Please note that we do not accept pets.
