Directions

The location of "Les Bouffards" is in the Sologne forest, between Orléans and Bourges. To get there from the A71 highway Orléans / Clermont-Ferrand, take exit n°3 Lamotte-Beuvron. Turn right at the highway exit and head towards Lamotte. At the second round crossing on main road N20, turn right towards Bourges/Vierzon. After 500m, turn left towards Brinon sur Sauldre/Aubigny onto road D923. Travel straight for 8km until you see a sign that says "Département du Cher". Continue straight for another 2 km. At milestone n°2, at the end of a long straight road and before a left curve, there will be an earth lane on your left with a sign post that says "Les Bouffards 1.5km". Cross over the Sauldre canal, turn left before a small pond with wild ducks and herons, pass by a guard house and a big old restored farm on your right. Keep going straight until you reach a gate facing the lane. Enter through the gate and proceed to the Castle on the right side.
