If you're interested in exploring further, the famous Kyle Line departs from Inverness, stopping at Garve and continuing on to the Kyle of Lochalsh. Additionally, Skye can be reached in just over an hour by car.For outdoor enthusiasts, there are numerous Munros in close proximity, providing ample opportunities for energetic guests to embark on thrilling adventures. Those seeking cultural experiences can visit distilleries, castles, and museums in the area.
After a day of exploration, you can look forward to a delightful evening meal at Garve, prepared by our experienced chef, Ray, who boasts 35 years of culinary expertise. If you are traveling from Inverness, Birch Cottage can be found on the right side of the A835 Inverness to Ullapool road. It is the second house on the right. However, if you are coming from Gairloch or Ullapool, it is just a minute away over the railway line and can be found on the left side.
