Come and stay with the Duff family in their beautifully renovated XIX century maison de maitre vigneronne, just 7km away from Narbonne. You can enjoy the swimming pool and explore the stunning garden. Choose from three guest bedrooms, each with their own en-suite bath or shower room. Feel free to use the barbecue for a delicious outdoor feast. Breakfast can be enjoyed in the courtyard or the charming salon de chasse. We offer secure private parking in our cave. If you prefer to self cater, we also have a village house available for 4-6 people just across the way. Cuxac d Aude is the perfect location for exploring the area, with Narbonne only 10km away and the beautiful Mediterranean beaches just 25 minutes' drive. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the Cathare castles, Carcassonne's famous Cite, and the picturesque canal du midi. And of course, the surrounding vineyards of Corbieres and Minervois are not to be missed.

Village House

This charming village house has been beautifully renovated in a traditional Mediterranean style. Located in a peaceful area on the outskirts of Cuxac, it offers accommodation for up to 6 people.

The house features 2 double bedrooms with comfortable 140cm beds, as well as a mezzanine with 2 single beds. The double bedrooms and a bathroom with a separate toilet are conveniently situated on the ground floor.

On the first floor, you will find a spacious dining room and cozy sitting area with a fireplace (firewood provided). The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing delicious meals. The double doors open onto a lovely terrace, complete with a barbecue and outdoor furniture.

For those looking to stay longer, this gite is ideally located for exploring the beautiful surroundings. The coast and beaches are just a short 20-30 minute drive away, offering endless opportunities for relaxation and recreation. Cycling and hiking enthusiasts will appreciate the numerous routes available, and history buffs will be delighted by the nearby Canal du Midi and the fascinating cathar castles. The historic city of Carcassonne is also within easy reach, just an hour's drive away.

If you're in the mood for a winter getaway, the ski slopes in the Pyrenees are just over a 2-hour drive from the gite.

Directions

To get to our location, start by exiting the autoroute du Sud A9 at junction 38. Then, follow the ring road N9 towards Carcassonne and Beziers. Look out for the signs that point towards Cuxac d'Aude. At the 4th roundabout, take the last exit onto D13 towards Cuxac d'Aude. Once you are in the village, you will notice a boulangerie on your right. Across from it, take the turn that leads to Salleles. When you reach the Hotel de Ville, make a left turn. After approximately 200 meters, you will see our sign post showing the way to rue du Bac on your left. There, you will also find another sign for Maison Pelissier. Parking is available in the cave opposite the sign.
