Welcome to Mirabelle Bed and Breakfast with cottage, owned by Anita and Paul. Our charming establishment is situated in the stunning Dordogne region, just a stone's throw away from the renowned Hautefort and its enchanting fairytale chateau. Additionally, we are conveniently close to the Tourtoirac Cave.Our cottage, originally constructed in 1784, has undergone recent renovations to ensure a top-notch accommodation experience. While we have incorporated modern comforts, we have also preserved the cottage's authentic period features, providing a unique blend of old-world charm and contemporary luxury. With a capacity to sleep up to four individuals, our cottage is the perfect choice for a comfortable stay.

Description for Gite
The cottage has undergone an extensive renovation, resulting in a high-quality finish throughout. The decor incorporates numerous period features, creating a delightful ambiance that invites relaxation and appreciation of the peaceful surroundings.This property comprises two bedrooms, each boasting their own en-suite bathroom and private toilet. With prior notice, one of the bedrooms can be arranged with either two single beds or one double bed. Positioned on the ground floor, the bedrooms remain pleasantly cool during the hot summer months. Additionally, both rooms offer stunning south easterly views of the valley.
On the second floor, you will discover a comfortable lounge, a dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen, ensuring a stress-free holiday experience.
The cottage also features a decked area at the upper entrance, providing the perfect setting for al fresco dining, barbecues, and secluded sunbathing. Furthermore, a shaded section of the garden hosts a games area, complete with amenities such as badminton, swingball, outdoor chess, and swings.

Directions
To get to Mirabelle, follow these directions:
If you are coming from the A20, leave at Brive and take the A89 towards Perigueux. Continue on the A89 until you reach the exit for La Bachellerie / Thenon (Junction 17). At the roundabout, take the right turn towards Perigueux. Follow this road until you reach the second roundabout. Take the first exit, which is signposted for Saint Rabier / Hautefort (D 704). Keep following this road through Saint Rabier for approximately 11.5 km towards Hautefort. About 1 km before reaching ST Agnan, you will see an aerial mast on the left. Take the road opposite the Hotel Perigord Noir, which is signposted for Maumont. Stay on this road and keep left. After 200m, the road will descend for about 1.5 km. At the bottom, you will come to a crossroads with a sign for Maumont. However, you must turn sharp right for Les Chareaux. Mirabelle is the first house on the left, situated above the road with a large wooden terrace.
Please note that on some maps and GPS devices, Maumont may be spelled Momon.
If you are coming from Bordeaux along the A89, continue towards Brive La Gaillarde until you reach the exit for La Bachellerie / Thenon (Junction 17). From there, follow the same directions as above starting from the roundabout at the motorway exit.
