This is a refurbished farmhouse made with sustainable and traditional materials such as hemp, wood wool, massive timbers, roofing slate, and larch countries. It offers basic comfort and is equipped with its own heating and solar electricity. The accommodation options include small private rooms, a dormitory for six people, and a shared suite. Upstairs, guests can enjoy a spacious living/dining room with exposed beams and a wood-burning stove.We offer stays ranging from one to several nights with half-board options. Fresh products are delivered 2-3 times a week by men on foot, ensuring quality and freshness.
This secluded location is only 300m away from the entrance of the Ecrins National Park, surrounded by beautiful meadows and breathtaking views of the nearby glaciers. Experience a unique breakfast on the terrace accompanied by the presence of marmots just 5m away, guaranteeing a truly unforgettable experience.

Belle découverte
Après une randonnée dans le toujours aussi bel alpage de Villar d'Arène dimanche 3 aout, nous avons été charmés par ce tout nouveau refuge. Le repas a été excellent, avec un accueil très chaleureux et une chambre familiale pour 4 parfaite pour un couple avec 2 enfants.

Directions
To reach your destination, head towards the hamlet "Pied du col" located between Villar Arêne and Col du Lautaret. Once there, follow the road until you reach the house called "pas de lâne". At the end of this road, continue on the vehicle track for about 1.5km until you reach the final parking area. Leave behind your worries, laptop, and iPhone here and instead equip yourself with walking shoes, a backpack, and hiking sticks. From the parking area, follow the GR54 trail for approximately one hour to reach the Col d'Arsine and the lake. After about 50 minutes of uphill walking, you will reach a ledge where you will have a view of the chalets of "le plan de l'Alpe". It will take you only 15 minutes from this point to reach your destination. Welcome!
