Gite Mont Joly is located in a sunny area just off the main road leading into Saint-Gervais-les-Bains. It is conveniently situated only 800m from the village center. Surrounded by beautiful woodland on one side and breathtaking mountain views on the other three sides, our charming gite is perfect for short getaways or longer vacations. We can accommodate up to 15 guests in rooms for 2, 4, or 6-7 people.

For a small fee of 7€ per person (children under 5 are free), we offer the option to enjoy a delicious breakfast. Additionally, we provide the option for a packed lunch at the same price of 7€.

At Gite Mont Joly, our guests have the opportunity to socialize with fellow travelers in our spacious dining room and cozy snug area. Alternatively, they can relax and soak up the sun on our sunny patio. Our communal kitchen is well-equipped and includes complimentary kitchen essentials such as herbs, spices, oil, and cling film. We also have raclette equipment available for use, as well as barbecues on the patio.

Upon request, guests can access our washing machine and dryer. We offer a ski locker in the basement (bike locker in the summer) and ample private parking outside. We also have baby essentials such as a cot, high chair, play mat, and musical chair available upon request.

Saint-Gervais is a charming French town known for its authenticity and friendly atmosphere. There are many attractions nearby, including the famous Tramway du Mont Blanc, which departs from the village and reaches an altitude of 2380m. The hot springs at nearby Le Fayet, known as Les Thermes, are only a 15-minute walk through the woods from our gite. Additionally, the Evasion Mont Blanc ski area, the fourth largest in France, is just 1.5km away. The village also offers a brand new swimming pool, an ice rink (in winter), and numerous attractive walking trails starting from the village or the nature reserve at Les Contamines.

Description for Gite

You have the opportunity to rent the entire gite all year round, accommodating 15 guests during summer and 22 during winter. Except during the peak winter holidays (Christmas, New Year, and February/March school holidays) when the changeover day is on Saturdays, it is possible to rent our gite for less than 7 days. Similar to our Chambres d'hotes, the price includes all bedding.

Directions

If you are traveling from Geneva by car or motorbike, you can take the Autoroute Blanche until you reach Saint-Gervais-le Fayet. From there, simply follow the signs to Saint-Gervais-les-Bains. As you approach the village, you will pass the restaurant called Le Four on a hairpin bend. Our building is located right after Le Four.

If you are coming from Megève by car or motorbike, drive through Saint-Gervais and go under the Tramway du Mont Blanc bridge. Our location is just 200m ahead on the right-hand side.

For those traveling by train, the closest station is Le Fayet. We can arrange to pick up small groups from the station upon request.

If you are arriving by air, the nearest airport is Geneva. We suggest renting a car, but if that is not feasible, there are several companies in the region that offer transfer services, which can be arranged.
