Despite being converted into a luxurious accommodation facility, the hotel still retains its beautiful New Classical architecture. Situated just outside the city center, Halepa area offers easy access to the main Court House of Chania (Dikastiria) and all the conveniences of the city center, including pharmacies, dentists, doctors, realtors, hair salons, exercise clubs, supermarkets, walking trails, and a wide variety of local restaurants, taverns, shops, and entertainment options.

The Halepa Hotel, constructed in the late 19th Century, showcases the elegant design of the New Classical style period. Originally serving as the British Embassy during the era of Cretan Democracy, this historic building played a significant role in shaping the region's history. Countless important treaties were signed within its walls. In 1990, the hotel underwent a meticulous renovation, adding a new wing with 42 rooms while preserving the grandeur of the original structure. Since then, the Halepa Hotel has thrived, offering 3 Suites and 46 rooms to accommodate guests. The Traditional Wing features a VIP Suite and 5 Superior rooms, accessible by an exterior two-sided marble staircase. The New Wing includes 2 Small Suites and 41 Standard rooms, with 3 adjoining Family rooms available. Each room is equipped with modern amenities such as a private bathroom, hairdryer, shaver outlet, phone, free internet access, music, satellite TV, mini-bar, and central heating/air conditioning. The most recent renovation took place in 2005.
