Welcome to "Apart'Observatoire Saint Jean", a charming and character-filled gite that overlooks the heart of Lyon's historic district. Situated on the fourth floor of an 18th century building, this guest apartment offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Saint Jean Cathedral, Basilica of Fourvière, and the picturesque rooftops of the Renaissance district.

Restored in a rustic and traditional style, this short term rental accommodation is furnished with beautiful antiques and provides all the comforts you need, including internet access. The apartment is divided into two levels and a mezzanine.

On the first floor, you will find a fully furnished kitchen equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. And with the abundance of touristic areas nearby, you'll have no trouble finding a typical "bouchon lyonnais" restaurant to enjoy a delicious meal.

The mezzanine features a comfortable sofa bed, a coffee table, a cupboard, a safe, and internet access for your convenience. On the second level, there is a cozy bed (140 X 190), a chest of drawers, a TV, and a private bathroom.

To ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible, cleaning service is provided once a week and fresh sheets and towels are also included. Please note that pets are not allowed for the comfort of all guests.

Directions

Directions from the A6 motorway from Paris:
- Take the direction towards Lyon Centre.
- Go through the tunnel and take the first exit for Fourvière.
- After exiting the tunnel, take the exit for Old Lyon Lyon Saint Jean.
- Follow the banks of the Saône until you reach the Bonaparte bridge, near the cathedral.
- Enter the Saint Georges or Saint John parking.

Directions from the A7 motorway from Marseille:
- Upon arrival in Lyon, take the exit for La Mulatière and follow the Lyon banks of the Saône.
- Continue along the left bank of the Saône.
- Follow the banks of the Saône until you reach the Bonaparte bridge, near the cathedral.
- Enter the Saint Georges or Saint John parking.

Directions from Highway A43 from Grenoble and Chambéry:
- Set your course towards the Basilica of Fourvière, which can be seen in the distance on the hill.
- Always keep this direction.
- Take the direction towards Lyon, then Lyon Mermoz.
- Take the direction towards Lyon Centre Peninsula via the rue de l'Université.
- Cross the Rhone on the Bridge University.
- Turn right towards Bellecour.
- At the Guillotière bridge, turn left towards Place Bellecour on Rue de la Barre.
- Continue straight and cross the Saône on the Pont Bonaparte.
- Enter the Saint John or Saint Georges parking.

Directions from the A42 motorway from Bourg en Bresse and Geneva:
- Follow the direction towards Lyon.
- Take the ring road and exit at number 4 for Door of St Clair.
- Always follow the directions for Peninsula Centre, along the International City.
- Stay on the banks of the Rhone until you see the direction indicated for Place Bellecour on the right.
- Cross Place Bellecour and cross the Saône.
- Enter the Saint John or Saint Georges parking.
