Description for B&B:

Debra and Graham extend a warm welcome to Le Queyroix-Martin, a charming retreat nestled in the tranquil Monts de Blond in rural Haute-Vienne. This haven of serenity allows you to rejuvenate amidst the fresh air, melodious birdsong, and peaceful surroundings. Our bed and breakfast comprises five beautifully appointed double bedrooms, each with its own en suite, meticulously crafted from converted apple and livestock barns dating back to 1883. Delight in our delectable table d'hôtes meals, served either in the dining room adorned with original features or on the terrace, weather permitting, with picturesque views of the garden. Set amidst four acres of land, including an original apple orchard, Le Queyroix-Martin is enveloped by chestnut and oak forests, inviting you to explore, relax, and find solace. Marvel at the breathtaking valley views and observe the graceful roe deer that frequently graze among the trees.

This idyllic location is a paradise for both hikers and cyclists, with direct access to over 100 km of tracks and numerous peaceful lanes that make cycling a pleasure. Venture further afield to discover charming towns and villages, many of which host weekly or fortnightly markets. The nearby Lac St Pardoux offers opportunities for freshwater swimming and various water sports. For a touch of culture, Limoges awaits just 30 minutes away, boasting museums, historic buildings, art galleries, and renowned porcelain manufacturers.

Reaching Le Queyroix-Martin is effortless, with regular flights from multiple UK airports to Limoges Bellegarde, a mere 20-minute drive away. Other airports such as Poitiers, Tours, Bergerac, and Bordeaux are within a three-hour drive. In 2014, Ryanair is also launching a new route to Brive, which is only an hour's drive away. Alternatively, if you prefer train travel, Limoges is served by TGVs from Paris Gare Austerlitz (easily accessible from Eurostar, Gare du Nord). Even if you are not arriving by train, a visit to the striking Limoges station (Gare Bénédictine) is worthwhile due to its remarkable architecture. If you are traveling by car, we are approximately an 8-hour drive from Calais, with alternative routes available to avoid the infamous périphérique in Paris.

Whether you are seeking a brief stopover, an adventure-filled holiday, a tranquil weekend getaway, or a search for your dream home in the region, Le Queyroix-Martin offers a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. We eagerly anticipate meeting you and ensuring your stay is truly memorable.

Stayed here for 2 nights and can honestly say that it is one of the best places we have stayed. Graham and Debra put everything into making you feel at home. The rooms are super and very comfortable and clean. The food is exceptionally good and home made. Our evening meals and the company were the icing on the cake. Thank you both!

Beautiful, new rooms and affectionate atmosphere

During our travel through France, we lived in several Bed&Breakfast accomodations and this definitly was one of the best ones. The rooms are new and you can see and feel the passion and big ambition Debra and Graham put in their rooms to make them as comfortable as possible for their guests.
For the breakfast they bake their own Brioche and you can choose between several self made confitures.
We had great conversations with the owner, who gave us also good advices about the region and local events.
We are still thinking about our trip and won't forget!
