It is a 20-minute scenic drive from Knysna, going into the mountains and forest. The location is close enough to amenities but far enough to avoid the crowds, traffic, and congestion.
To reach Forest Edge from the N2 between Sedgefield and Knysna, follow these directions: After traveling about 1.5km west of the Knysna lagoon bridge, turn north onto the Rheenendal road. Drive for approximately 11.5km, passing the Rheenendal Petrol Station, and then turn right at the Bibbys Hoek sign. Continue on the dirt road for 2.2km and make a left turn at the intersection. Drive for another 1.5km until you reach Forest Edge, which is the last property on this road. The dirt roads are easily passable, even for small cars. Enjoy the tranquility of Forest Edge!
